CoveRP rules:



General rules:
1.1 Cheating  The use of third-party software is not allowed, the abuse of loopholes or glitches to gain an advantage is also not allowed.

1.2 Scamming  Scamming is prohibited this includes in all forms of exchanges e.g. in-game cash, items or store purchases.

1.3 Politics  Any form of political messages or images are forbidden, this includes any flags.

1.4 Admins  Unless you are in an admin sit you must not involve yourself in that of anothers, all roleplay scenarios in the area of which a staff is inspecting must wait until the staff has finished.

1.5 Discrimination  All discrimination is disallowed regardless of the situation, this includes comments about race, sexual orientation and any other verbal abuse.

1.6 Spamming  Spamming is disallowed, if you wish to send the same message again wait 3 minutes e.g. when advertising.

1.7 Punishment  Avoiding punishments e.g. LTAP (Left to avoid punishment) is disallowed.

1.8 Names/Chat  All names and chat messages must be in english, avoid arguing or sending innapropriate chat messages.

1.9 Money  Selling anything in-game for real life cash is disallowed, the only exception is with the sale of custom jobs or the gifting of store packages.





Gang Points:

2.1 Bases  Bases must not be placed on gang points

2.2 Teaming  Teaming with other gangs is not allowed when defending or attacking gang points

2.3 KOS  You may KOS anyone on your point, regardless of whether they are in a gang.

2.4 Government  Government jobs are not allowed to enter gang points

2.5 Explosives  Explosives aren't allowed to be used on gang points

2.6 PVP  All gang point PVP must start on the point, shooting onto point from a distance is not allowed.

2.7 Props  Don't spawn props onto the point

2.8 Wars  Gang wars are not allowed, this includes Bloods vs Crips.





Structures:

3.1 Buildings  Two buildings may be claimed for use in a base, if the base takes up too much of the map or is deemed an eye sore it may be removed. If two player's props are used then this would be classified as a megabase and is disallowed

3.2 Entities  Don't obstruct entities such as the trash entities, or NPC's such as weed grower.

3.3 Bank  Bankers can only base with Security Guards. Bankers may only house bitcoin miners and printers.

3.4 Tunnel Bases  Tunnel bases are allowed but must allow for a 2 player gap in between the base and the tunnel wall, they must also not exceed the tunnel's length.

3.5 Citizen Bases  Basing as a Citizen is allowed as long as you don't have any illegal entities and don't defend the base.

3.6 Gang bases  Large bases are allowed so long as they only house the members of a maximum of 2 gangs with a total of no more than 6 players inside.

3.7 Base defense  Double barrel shotguns or miniguns are not allowed for base defense

3.8 Textscreens  Building signs must be used when building, your structure must not contain entities when this is in use. KOS signs can only be applied to "Inside/Raiding/Past Line/Lockpicking/Minging/Shooting at base" - "KOS all reasons". All textscreens must be sized 50 and fully visible.

3.9 Base layout  Bases must have a clear path to follow, the player raiding must not have to change elevation throughout the raid e.g. crouching, jumping, climbing or pixel perfect gaps. An admin has the last say in whether your base is in alignment with this rule. Bases must not have no collide props which allow players to dive in and out of while defending.

3.10 Gun Dealer  Gun dealer bases may only house themself and other gun dealers, gun dealers can have bitcoin miners and printers and must sell guns to players who need them.

3.11 Shooting gaps  Defenders of a base must be fully visible from their hip upwards to those raiding, the width of a shooting gap must be as wide as the player.

3.12 Fountain bases  Fountain bases are not allowed.

3.13 Base entrances  Base entrances must be accessible at street level and not require the player to crouch or change their elevation. The whole base must not be pixel player, e.g. the player must be able to easily pass through a base.

3.14 Defending  You may kill raiders if you have a KOS sign. Do not no-collide into the base during a raid. You may not use explosives when defending a base, counter raiding is allowed but must not be done from across the street.

3.16 Keypads  Keypads must be clearly visible and at eye level. You may have a maximum of 3 keypad doors within a base

3.17 Fading doors  You may have 3 fading doors for the purpose of shooting gaps, fading doors are not allowed for use in addition to the keypad fading doors for the purpose of slowing raiders.

3.18 The maximum hallway length, including turns, is 2 x fence03a.mdl.





Raiding:

4.1 Props  While raiding you may not use props in the base of those defending e.g. pushing cameras through walls or placing props infront of defenders.

4.2 Raidable bases  Don't raid bases that have building signs as these are no RP zones. If a base holds entities or keypad doors it may be raided.

4.3 Raid timer  You must be in and out of a base within 10 minutes, you may not return to raid the same base for another 15 minutes after the previous raid has ended.

4.4 Government  The police must have a warrant in order to raid a base, lockpicking through as a government role is not allowed. The mayor cannot raid.





Roleplay:

5.1 Explosives  Explosives cannot be used when defending or raiding, anyone killed by explosives are your responsibility.

5.2 Meta Gaming  Using information that you didn't gather in game to give yourself an unfair advantage is not allowed.

5.3 NPCs When selling to an NPC, you can KOS anyone who attempts to steal your product or hinders your sale. You may not steal from the trashman.

5.4 FearRP  When being mugged or kidnapped you must follow the instructions of your mugger/kidnapper and behave as if your life holds a value.

5.5 Adverts Use adverts for roleplay sitauations, advertising gangs or the sale of items.

5.6 Kidnaps/Mugs When mugging or kidnapping advert in chat to alert the targeted player e.g. "/advert mug drop 10k or die". KOSing is only allowed if the player attempts to retaliate, flee or fails to pay the mugging ransome after 10 seconds has passed. Maximum ransome is 10k.

5.7 Random Death Match (RDM)  Random killings are not allowed, there must have been a valid roleplay reason to damage players with the exception of defending yourself if damaged.

5.8 Erotic Roleplay (ERP)  Sexual acts are not to be communicated over GMOD, don't be thick.

5.9 FailRP  Roleplay realistically e.g. follow FearRP and don't break rules such as NLR.

5.10 Jobs  Changing jobs to gain an advantage is not allowed

5.11 New Life Rule (NLR)  After death any previous altercations had in roleplay must be forgotten, you are not allowed to return to the location of your death until 3 minutes has passed.

5.12 Checkpoints  The mayor may create one checkpoint but must not fully block pathways through (must be 2 players wide), this includes the use of keypads to block players. If players breach through the checkpoint they may be arrested.

5.13 Prop minge  Any use of props which has no use towards the function of DarkRP is not allowed e.g. propblock, prop surfing or prop climbing.

5.14 Stunstick  The use of the stunstick must only be for roleplay scenarios, the use of the stunstick to boost up to high areas is not allowed.

5.15 Micspam  Don't micspam this includes all forms of loud noise through your mic, Hobo's are allowed to play music but must remain in one area and stay clear of spawn.
